It consists of total three sections:

Section - I

It will have two questions and Attempting One question is Mandatory.

Question - 1 :

They will give a small requirement and expect to write Test Plan and test cases for the given requirement.

OR

Question - 2: (Mobile Testing)

They will give a requirement and expect to write Test plan and cases for the requirement. This question will be asked to attempt as mandatory if the interview is for Mobile testing position.

Section - II

It will have total of 40 questions which includes (Analytical, aptitude, reasoning and basic programming questions)

Depends on the position and experience of the position the interviewer will ask to attempt number of questions.

Aptitude questions will be on :

Time and Work

Example: A can do a work in 15days and B in 20days. If they work on it together for 4days, then the fraction of the work that is left is:

Time and Distance:

Example: If a person walks at 14 km/hr instead of 10 km/hr, he would have walked 20 km more. The actual distance traveled by him is:

And also you will have questions on Probability, logical reasoning, statements and conclusion.

Programming question will be very simple.

They will give a flow chart and asks the output of the program with different inputs.

Network Questions:

They will also asks for two to three basic networking questions like, which protocol is used for sending an email etc.

Section - III

This is section is completely with Shell and Perl language questions.

This need not to be attempted by a Test Engineer.

Points To Remember:

1. Time will be given of max 45mins.
2. OMR sheet will be given and an additional sheets to write test plan and cases
3. Negative marking will also be there.
